A PLACE TO KILL, the industrial project of Richard Patrick of FILTER and former member of NINE INCH NAILS, alongside Jim Louvau of THERE IS NO US and renowned music video director, will release its new EP, "APTK2", on November 13, 2026, via Patrick's No Pulse Records. The first single from the EP, "Keep My Name Out Of Your Mouth", will be released on September 25, 2026, accompanied by a new music video. The track features punishing rhythms, distorted electronics, and a dark, cinematic production, with dual vocals that alternate between searing aggression and controlled menace.

A PLACE TO KILL's debut EP, "APTK", was released in June 2026 and received critical acclaim, including an exclusive vinyl release through Revolver magazine. The new EP builds on the project's signature sound, with a more focused and ferocious tone, serving as a soundtrack to a post-apocalyptic world shaped by greed and betrayal. The collaboration between Patrick and Louvau began in 2008 when Louvau interviewed Patrick before a FILTER show.

Louvau later contributed backing vocals to FILTER's 2020 track "Murica", which inspired the formation of A PLACE TO KILL. Patrick confirmed that the project is not a one-off side project, stating the duo is committed to releasing more music due to their spontaneous and creative chemistry. The band has expressed interest in performing live in the near future, potentially opening for FILTER.

If live shows occur, they would feature only the two members, with minimal stage elements such as smoke and fog machines, and would be styled more in the vein of artists like Scarlxrd or Deadmau5. A PLACE TO KILL has indicated a potential appearance at music festivals in the coming years.
