Abyssus has announced the release of their third full-length album, The Reign, set for October 23rd. The album builds upon the band's legacy of raw aggression and blistering riff-work, drawing from the foundational elements of death metal pioneered by bands such as Death, Obituary, and Bolt Thrower. The visual art for the album was created by Andreas Marschall, known for his work with In Flames, Blind Guardian, and Dimmu Borgir, enhancing the band's sonic identity with striking intensity.

The band has released a music video for the track "Destined To Die," which the vocalist Konstantinos Analytis describes as a deeply personal expression of depression, nihilism, and despair during a dark period of his life. The song is featured as the first music video from the album.
