AC/DC guitarist Stevie Young has been hospitalized in Buenos Aires ahead of the band's concerts scheduled for March 23, March 27, and March 31.
A spokesperson released a statement to Reuters stating that out of an abundance of caution, Stevie was admitted to a local hospital where he is undergoing a full battery of tests.
Despite this development, AC/DC remains committed to its South American leg tour dates.
This news comes after guitarist Angus Young described Stevie as the "logical choice" to replace his uncle Malcolm Young in 2014.
However, the exact reason for Stevie's hospitalization has not been disclosed, fueling speculation among fans and critics alike.
AC/DC continues to power through their tour schedule with guitarist Stevie Young's condition currently under evaluation.
