U.K. thrash metal veterans Acid Reign will release a new album, Daze Of The Week, on May 15. It marks the band’s first full-length release since The Age Of Entitlement (2019).

Formed in 1985, Acid Reign are among the original U.K. thrash metal acts, alongside Onslaught, Sabbat, and Xentrix. After a 29-year hiatus, the band returned with The Age Of Entitlement, released in September 2019 via Dissonance Productions. Its cover art was created by Mark Wilkinson, known for work with Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and Marillion.

In a January 30 Facebook post, Acid Reign announced Daze Of The Week alongside spring tour dates. Since their return, the band has toured extensively, building a reputation for high-energy live shows anchored by classic material from their catalog.
