After reuniting for two special anniversary concerts in the Netherlands, Mark Jansen's pre-EPICA band AFTER FOREVER has now announced its return to the stage in Latin America this fall.
The tour is set to celebrate 26 years of their debut album, "Prison Of Desire", and 25 years of their follow-up effort, "Decipher".
The first confirmed dates are as follows: Oct.
16 - São Paulo, Brazil - @Tokio Marine Hall Oct.
18 - Buenos Aires, Argentina - @Teatro Flores Oct.
20 - Santiago, Chile - @Teleton Oct.
22 – Bogotá, Colombia - @Royal Center The band will feature Angel Wolf-Black on vocals, Sander Gommans and Bas Maas on guitar, Luuk Van Gerven on bass, Jeffrey Revet on keyboards, and Ariën Van Weesenbeek on drums.
In an interview with FaceCulture, Mark Jansen stated that the reunion came about after everyone had "grown" beyond their past conflicts.
The band aims to have fun and enjoy themselves, revisiting old hits and celebrating their legacy.
The band's latest album was released in April 2007 via Nuclear Blast Records.
After their Tilburg shows in 2025, AFTER FOREVER received many requests for their return dates.
