Alice Cooper has introduced British guitarist Anna Cara to replace his longtime guitarist Nita Strauss, who announced earlier this year that she was taking a break due to pregnancy.

Anna Cara is a 22-year-old musician from Newcastle, England, who has previously worked with Marc Storace and Tommy Henriksen.

Anna will make her debut April 2-4 with Alice at his special "Welcome To Our Nightmare" shows in Las Vegas, which are a collaboration with illusionist Criss Angel.

She will then join Alice on his U.S.

"Alice's Attic" tour from April 14 through May 9, followed by three more "Welcome To Our Nightmare" shows in Las Vegas from May 22-24.

In a statement, Alice praised Anna Cara as a brilliant British female guitarist who fits perfectly into the band while Nita is away on maternity leave.

Anna expressed her excitement about joining Alice and his great band, saying that it's like a dream come true to be alongside such talented musicians.

Nita Strauss, who has been playing with Cooper since 2014, praised Anna Cara as an up-and-coming guitarist with precision and soulful emotional playing.

She will continue to tour with other bands after her stint with Alice comes to an end.
