Former CRADLE OF FILTH keyboardist Lindsay Schoolcraft has publicly disagreed with ALL THAT REMAINS frontman Phil Labonte's claim that therapy is primarily for women and that men solve their problems through action.

In a recent interview with BLABBERMOUTH.NET, Schoolcraft stated her opinion on the matter.

She emphasized the importance of seeking help when needed and criticized the notion that discussing emotions or receiving therapy is somehow 'unmanly.' Schoolcraft pointed out that seeking mental health support is not shameful and should be normalized across all genders.,The exchange follows Labonte's comments earlier this month to Bill Bailey of Today's Boondoggle Podcast regarding his recent op-ed, "The Silent Crisis: Why Society Is Failing Men And Boys." During the interview, Labonte expressed concern about rising male disengagement from education and work, as well as increasing rates of depression, addiction, and suicide among men.,Schoolcraft responded to Labonte's assertions in her own interview with BLABBERMOUTH.NET.

She pointed out that seeking mental health support is essential for healing and growth, contrasting Labonte's views with her own experiences surviving narcissistic abuse.

Schoolcraft has been open about her struggles with mental health through her music.,Her latest solo album, "Harrowing," was released on June 19, 2026, and explores themes of trauma, recovery, and emotional healing.

The album features contributions from notable musicians including Krista Shipperbottom on the track "So Alive." Schoolcraft's work has been well-received globally, earning her a Juno nomination for her solo efforts.",
