Finnish metallers AMORPHIS have unveiled the official video for their standout track "The Lantern", a pivotal centerpiece of their latest studio album "Borderland".

This critically acclaimed fifteenth studio effort marks a milestone in AMORPHIS's three-and-a-half decade evolution, seamlessly blending melodic depth and dynamic storytelling with an invigorated creative spark born from their collaboration with producer Jacob Hansen.

"The Lantern", which draws its imagery from mythic currents and nocturnal wanderers, captures the haunting journey along Tuonela's black river.

Guitarist Esa Holopainen remarks: "The song has a strong atmosphere and cinematic storytelling," emphasizing the track's visual essence captured in the accompanying live footage.

The band's vocalist Tomi Joutsen shines throughout the album, and his performance on "The Lantern" is nothing short of revelatory.

AMORPHIS will showcase this momentum across Europe with festival appearances in Finland (Tuska), Romania (Rockstadt Extreme Fest), Czech Republic (Brutal Assault, France (Sylak Open Air), Germany (Party.San Metal Open Air, Summer Breeze Open Air, Reload Festival), Belgium (Alcatraz Metal Festival) and Netherlands (Dynamo Metalfest).

The band will also embark on multiple club dates in Japan later this year, followed by Australia and a comprehensive Latin America leg covering Mexico, Honduras, Costa Rica, Colombia, Chile, Argentina, and Brazil.
