Over a decade in the making, the wait is finally over for European fans of symphonic metal.

Anette Olzon will return to European stages, marking her first tour on the continent since 2012.

This exclusive, limited-run tour will be dedicated to the acclaimed albums she recorded with NIGHTWISH, "Dark Passion Play" (2007) and "Imaginaerum" (2011),and some surprises too.

Fans can expect a nostalgic and high-energy journey, featuring hits such as "Amaranth", "Bye Bye Beautiful", "Storytime" and "The Poet and the Pendulum".

She has been open about the challenges and mixed emotions that came with her time in the band.

In a 2021 interview, she reflected on her experience: "Well, it's mixed emotions.

It was a hell of a ride.

You know how it was with the media in Finland.

And for me, I didn't understand what was happening because I don't live in Finland.

So it was really fun the first years with everything and also crazy.

I wasn't home a lot." Since her time with NIGHTWISH ended, Anette has gone on to form THE DARK ELEMENT and release several albums with noted progressive metal vocalist Russell Allen under the moniker ALLEN/OLZON.

Her latest solo album is scheduled for release this year.
