After six long years of silence, French gothic doom metallers Angellore have emerged from the shadows with their latest album Nocturnes.

The album, released on May 15th, is a captivating and sensual masterpiece that weaves traditional instruments into its rich layers of sound.

A Dormant Stream, Forever Fairytale, Martyrium, Black Sun River, and Falling Birds showcase Angellore's unique blend of gothic doom, folkloric influence, drama, storytelling, and grand emotion.

The album was written over years and recorded in multiple locations across Europe, adding to its poignancy and power.

Angellore's frontman Walran spoke exclusively with BraveWords about the album, revealing that they've stayed true to their gothic doom sound over the years.

When asked why other bands don't play music like theirs, Walran replied, \“We have long songs that take their time to play on the balance of the vocals, the music has a Beauty And The Beast approach, and I think it's because we miss that kind of music.\” Angellore also released new merch via Bandcamp in celebration of Nocturnes.
