Spanish thrash metal band ANGELUS APATRIDA has officially signed with Napalm Records, marking a major shift in its career. Formed in 2000, the quartet has long been recognized as a leading force in the international thrash metal scene, with performances at major festivals including Wacken Open Air, Hellfest, Graspop Metal Meeting, and Download. To launch its new era, ANGELUS APATRIDA has released "Cycle Of Ruin" as its first single via Napalm Records. The track features aggressive riffs, powerful vocals, and a driving mid-tempo groove, culminating in a high-energy guitar solo.
It also serves as the lead single for the upcoming three-track EP "The Reckoning", set for release on November 19. The EP includes "Cycle Of Ruin", "Burn It Down", and a furious cover of SEPULTURA's "Propaganda", which is already available on all streaming platforms. The release was produced by the band, recorded by Juanan López, and mixed and mastered by Zeuss, the group's longtime collaborator. The band confirmed that the new EP reflects their current sound and artistic direction.
ANGELUS APATRIDA's tour schedule includes dates from August 20 to September 12, spanning locations in Austria, Spain, and Finland. The tour kicks off at Kaltenbach Open Air in Spital am Semmering, continues with shows in Palencia, Tampere, Turku, Helsinki, and concludes at the LPA Beer and Music Festival in Las Palmas. The band's lineup remains unchanged: Guillermo Izquierdo on guitars and vocals, David G. Alvarez on guitars, Jose J. Izquierdo on bass, and Victor Valera on drums.
