Atlanta-based metal outfit Anger Within have unleashed their brand new EP, Through The Eyes Of The Bedouin, via Pavement Entertainment.
Co-produced by Matt Washburn (Mastodon) and mixed and recorded at Ledbelly Studios in Dawsonville, GA, the EP features five aggressive tracks that fuse metal, hardcore punk, and death metal styles.
The EP tracklisting includes "Mass Incineration," "Nothing's Ever Done," "Planet Retrograding," "Through The Eyes Of The Bedouin," and "Overcome." Accompanying the release is a music video for the title track, directed by Ronnie Winstead.
The clip showcases Anger Within's energetic live performance.
In a statement, vocalist and guitarist Wulf Morris explains, "When I write songs these days, I try to do something outside of the box, something that not every metal band is doing.
'Through The Eyes Of The Bedouin' gave me the opportunity to incorporate some Middle Eastern styled music, and lyrics that told a story about desert nomads in ancient times." Anger Within's Through The Eyes Of The Bedouin EP is now available for streaming or download, with an accompanying video available below.
The band, which has been inspired by classic acts like Metallica and Sepultura, features Wulf Morris on vocals/guitar, Bryan Powers on lead guitar, Chris Hoff on drums, and Jason Confer on bass/backup vocals.
