In an interview with Australia's Everblack podcast, Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante confirmed that the band's new album will now arrive in September rather than May.

The album was initially scheduled for a spring release, but the exact date has been pushed back due to some final tweaks and mixing.

Despite this change, fans are still eagerly anticipating the new record, which is described by Benante as a cohesive collection of high-quality songs.

Recorded partially at Dave Grohl's Studio 606, the album was produced by Jay Ruston, who has worked with Anthrax on several projects in the past.

The band recently teased some of their upcoming work with a live snippet from one of the new songs.

This will be Anthrax's first release since their 2016 album For All Kings.
