Anthrax have signed with Independent Artist Group (IAG) for worldwide representation.
The band will be represented by agents Peter Pappalardo and Nick Storch, who expressed enthusiasm about working with the iconic thrashers.
“Anthrax have been one of the most important and influential bands in heavy music for more than four decades,” said Pappalardo and Storch.
“Their legacy, catalog, and live show continue to inspire generations of fans, and we’re thrilled to work with them worldwide.” Anthrax's last studio album was released 10 years ago, but the band has been working on new material, including new songs teased during their recent Canadian tour supporting Megadeth.
In an interview with Long & McQuade, bassist Frank Bello revealed that the band's long-awaited new album will surface in May, calling it “so heavy” and praising vocalist Joey Belladonna for his impressive vocals.
Anthrax is gearing up for a busy year, with their previous album, For All Kings, released in 2016.
The band performs next on March 23 at The Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane, Australia.
