On September 18, Anthrax will unleash their long-awaited 12th full-length studio album, Cursum Perficio.

It marks the band's first record in ten years since 2016's For All Kings, which debuted in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200.

The phrase Cursum Perficio is Latin for "My journey has come to an end," or "My journey is over." Anthrax - Scott Ian (guitar), Charlie Benante (drums), Frank Bello (bass), Joey Belladonna (vocals), and Jonathan Donais (guitar) - have been working on Cursum Perficio since 2022, recording it at Dave Grohl's Studio 606 in Los Angeles.

The album is produced by Jay Ruston and Anthrax and features a mix of classic Anthrax sound with new elements.

Cursum Perficio will be available in various formats, including standard CD, Target exclusive CD with a fabric patch, standard black double LP with pop-up gatefold, and more.

The band has released their first single and video, "It's For The Kids," which is a classic Anthrax ripper locked and loaded with buzzsaw-sharp riffs, explosive drumming, and a howling hook.

Anthrax will be supporting the album on tour dates booked until early October.

The band recently completed a cross-Canada tour with Megadeth and Exodus and have been sharing their story through interviews.

In one such interview, Charlie Benante mentioned that they were working on Cursum Perficio during 2022.

The band has also signed with IAG, full-service talent representation and brand management company representing Pantera.

The album marks Anthrax's first record in ten years since For All Kings, which debuted in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200.

Despite the delay due to signing with IAG and other circumstances, the band feels that they have left it all on the table with Cursum Perficio.

The title song is Latin for "My journey has come to an end," or "My journey is over." Anthrax guitarist Charlie Benante discussed in an interview how the album marks a culmination of everything the band has learned.

A new video for the track 'It's For The Kids' is out now.

In it, fans can see the band's enthusiasm and dedication to their craft.

The video features Anthrax playing their music and interacting with their fans.

It captures the energy of the live show and showcases the band's connection with their audience.

The album Cursum Perficio marks a significant milestone in Anthrax's discography.

With its classic sound mixed with new elements, it is sure to delight both old and new fans alike.
