Anvil Embarks On 'Pounding The Past' Tour With Midnite Hellion

Canadian metal legends Anvil will embark on a North American tour in June 2026 with East Coast metal wolves Midnite Hellion as support.

The trek, which will feature fan-favorite songs from the band's early releases including "Hard 'N' Heavy" (1981), "Metal On Metal" (1982) and "Forged In Fire" (1983), will kick off on June 3 in Rochester, New York and wrap up on July 11 in Toledo, Ohio.

ANVIL's 20th studio album "One And Only", was released in June 2024 via AFM Records and features music that showcases the band's unique sound.,In an interview with Victor Ruiz of Signals From Mars, Anvil guitarist/vocalist Steve 'Lips' Kudlow discussed how his band never quite hit it big despite being musically ahead of their time due to poor management, shady record labels, and bad luck.

He also talked about the differences between hard rock and metal music.,The band's 2008 rockumentary "Anvil! The Story of Anvil" was a critical success and follows Kudlow and Reiner as they try to revive their careers in the music industry.
