AS I LAY DYING vocalist Tim Lambesis has been discussing the band's future plans in a recent interview.

When asked about the possibility of an official full-length album release, Lambesis stated that the group aims to focus on recording the new material as soon as they return from their current tour.

He also mentioned that the vocals for some of the songs are already complete, with the instrumental demos being used as a guide.

Lambesis and bassist Chris Clancy have been touring extensively in Russia to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their breakthrough album "Shadows Are Security".

The tour has received mixed reactions due to ongoing international tensions between Russia and Ukraine.

Despite this, Lambesis expressed his gratitude for his new bandmates, citing renewed vitality and artistic momentum within the group.

The interview touched on the topic of whether fans could expect more songs in a similar style to those found on "Shadows Are Security".

Tim stated that while some songs may fit into that genre, he believes it's essential to explore new musical directions.

Chris Clancy also shared his thoughts on the matter, recalling how Lambesis' latest demo track sent him back in time due to its nostalgic feel.

This marks a significant moment for AS I LAY DYING as they strive to move forward from past lineup changes and controversies surrounding frontman Tim Lambesis.

The band's new formation has brought fresh energy to their sound, with each member contributing unique voices and refined musicianship."
