Legendary English rock supergroup ASIA has announced the release of its new studio album, 'Indigo', set for November 6, 2026 via Frontiers Music Srl.
The album features the band's current lineup: Geoff Downes on keyboards, Virgil Donati on drums, John Mitchell on guitar, and Harry Whitley on bass and vocals.
The record marks ASIA's return after more than four decades, following the passing of founding member John Wetton in 2015.
It includes two of Wetton's final compositions, 'Tattoo Indigo (Parts 2 & 3)' and 'Chesapeake Bay', honoring his legacy.
Harry Whitley's vocal performance is noted for its strong resemblance to Wetton's signature tone.
'Indigo' was recorded throughout 2025 and produced by Geoff Downes and the band, with mixing and mastering handled by John Mitchell.
The album blends melodic progressive rock with modern elements, maintaining ASIA's signature sound while incorporating new musical textures.
Special guest appearances include Steve Howe on acoustic guitar for 'Chesapeake Bay' and Mike Portnoy of DREAM THEATER on the bonus track 'Tattoo Indigo (Part 3)'.
The first single, 'The Traveller (Into The Light)', features a high-energy opening with prog-inspired elements and a powerful chorus, reflecting ASIA's classic style.
The second single, 'Echo Of You', is accompanied by an official music video.
Following successful tours across the U.S., Japan, and Europe in 2024 and 2025, ASIA is preparing to resume live performances in 2026.
The full album tracklist includes 'The Traveller (Into The Light)', 'Change Of Heart', 'Arcadia', 'Is This The Life?', 'Tattoo Indigo (Part 1)', 'Life In The Sun', 'Hymn For The Fallen', 'Night And Day', 'Valencia (The Ghost Ship)', 'An Elegy', 'Chesapeake Bay', 'On A Winters Night', 'Echo Of You', and the bonus track 'Tattoo Indigo (Part 3) featuring Mike Portnoy'."
