Swedish metal legends At The Gates will release their final studio album, The Ghost Of A Future Dead, on April 24.

This milestone marks the culmination of a long and challenging journey for the band, who have seen vocalist Tomas Lindberg pass away due to complications from cancer treatment in September 2025.

The album, which combines the ferocious energy and powerful melodies that are the essence of At The Gates, stands as a tribute to Lindberg's legacy.

The band had completed recording the album by mid-December 2023 but faced numerous setbacks before finally deciding to proceed with its release without Lindberg's direct involvement.

In a statement on social media, they reflected on their process and emphasized that The Ghost Of A Future Dead remains true to form as per Lindberg's wishes.
