Melodic death metal band Atavistia has released a new single titled "In The Shadow Of Tomorrow", ahead of the deluxe edition of their album Old Gods Awaken. The track combines aggressive blast beats with soaring melodies and a dramatic guitar solo, highlighting the band's signature blend of melodic death metal, symphonic elements, and extreme metal intensity.

Atavistia will launch their 16-date Canadian tour on September 25, 2026, beginning at Vancouver’s Wise Hall. The tour will traverse British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, and Quebec, with major supporting acts including Finnish folk metal band Ensiferum and Greek power metal group Firewind.

Omniesia will join Atavistia for shows in Kamloops, Calgary, and Edmonton. Starting October 3, Quebec-based folk/melodic death metal band Trollwar will join the tour, performing from Sarnia through the Montreal finale on October 11.
