Californian metallers ATREYU have released a crushing new single, "'Children Of Light', which features a guest appearance by none other than Max Cavalera.
The song is taken from the band's upcoming album, "'The End Is Not The End'", set to drop on April 24 via Spinefarm.
In an interview, ATREYU frontman Brandon Saller explains that "'Children Of Light' was created with a primal spirit in mind.
A 'festival' song.
Heavily inspired by classic SEPULTURA, though it seemed like an untouchable ask, we wanted Max involved.' The album itself is undeniably ATREYU's heaviest ever and the band's most adventurous.
Guitarists Dan Jacobs and Travis Miguel, bassist Porter McKnight, drummer Kyle Rosa, and Saller created several of "'The End Is Not The End"'s songs on creative trips to Tokyo and San Juan Island, where isolation became a creative accelerant.
Produced by Matt Pauling, ATREYU's tenth album is vibrant, inventive, and beautifully aggressive.
ATREYU recently announced a spring tour supporting SEVENDUST, kicking off April 20 in Indianapolis, Indiana and concluding on May 20 in Knoxville, Tennessee.
