Los Angeles heavy metal band Avenged Sevenfold has announced a string of headlining tour dates across North America.

The trek is set to kick off on May 1st in New York City and will make stops in major markets such as Chicago, Toronto, and Los Angeles before wrapping up on June 20th in San Diego.

Supporting the A7X crew will be fellow metal act Trivium.

Tickets for the tour are available now through Ticketmaster.

Avenged Sevenfold recently released their new album, "The Stage," which debuted at number one on Billboard's Hard Rock Albums chart.
