Finnish power metal veterans BATTLE BEAST have confirmed that Brazilian vocalist Marina La Torraca will join the band as their new frontwoman, replacing longtime frontwoman Noora Louhimo.

In a recent interview with Metal Mal, bassist Eero Sipilä spoke about the decision to part ways with Louhimo and praised La Torraca's powerful vocals.

The new lineup will take to the stage in March 2026 for a run of shows in Japan and Australia.

This change comes after Louhimo announced her departure from the band in December, citing a desire to focus on solo projects.

She expressed gratitude towards BATTLE BEAST but emphasized that she was embarking on "a new adventure" with full attention towards her own goals.

The band's seventh studio album, 'Steelbound', was released via Nuclear Blast in October 2025, following a successful European tour that kicked off with their biggest German headline show to date on October 17, 2025.
