BATTLE BEAST has announced the addition of Marina La Torraca as its new frontwoman, following the departure of longtime vocalist Noora Louhimo. Louhimo exited the band in December 2025 to focus on her solo career, stating it was a time for personal growth and new adventures. The band confirmed that La Torraca, a Brazilian vocalist from São Paulo best known for her work with PHANTOM ELITE and EXIT EDEN, has joined the group.

La Torraca began performing in local cover bands during her teens and later studied musical theatre in New York. She brings a versatile vocal range, transitioning seamlessly between melodic passages and aggressive screams. According to band members, the decision to hire her was made quickly and without a formal audition process. Bassist Eero Sipilä described the transition as a 'leap of faith,' emphasizing that they could not afford a prolonged hiatus to search for a replacement.

BATTLE BEAST played its first show with La Torraca on March 6 at WWWX in Tokyo, Japan. The band confirmed that new music will be developed following the summer season, with no set release date. The group has maintained its tradition of creating music based on emotional feeling rather than a fixed formula. Noora Louhimo expressed gratitude in her farewell message, calling her time with BATTLE BEAST a meaningful chapter that opened the door to new adventures.

The seventh studio album, "Steelbound", was released in October 2025 via Nuclear Blast. The band remains committed to its core ethos of authenticity and artistic expression, with La Torraca set to continue that legacy in the group's evolving sound.
