Polish extreme metal band BEHEMOTH has confirmed a live project in 2026 to perform its 1995 debut album "Sventevith (Storming Near The Baltic)" in its entirety, marking the record's 30th anniversary. The performance will be presented as a full conceptual work, with the band collaborating with Icelandic black metal group MISÞYRMING. The event is the first time the album will be performed live as a complete project.

Adam "Nergal" Darski, BEHEMOTH's frontman, stated that while he once dismissed nostalgic album tours, he now sees value in revisiting older material. He identified "Demigod" as a potential candidate for a future full-album live performance, citing its coherent structure and consistent flow. Other albums such as "Evangelium" and "The Satanist" are also considered, though "Zos Kia Cultus" is currently ruled out due to personal reservations about its content.

Darski emphasized that his primary goal in creating albums has been to produce compact, cohesive works that offer a continuous journey for listeners. He cited "Painkiller", "Master Of Puppets", and "Reign In Blood" as examples of such albums. While he acknowledged that some records may be revisited in the future, he currently sees no immediate plans for such performances beyond the 2026 project.

BEHEMOTH is set to take a break following the 2026 tour, with no official return date announced. The band's latest release, "The Shit Ov God", was released in May 2025 via Nuclear Blast Records.
