Progressive metal innovators Between the Buried and Me will descend underground on Friday, June 19 for a performance inside The Caverns, a state-of-the-art music venue within a natural limestone cave system in Grundy County, Tennessee.

This show adds to the growing list of landmark underground performances hosted by The Caverns, which has steadily expanded its presence in the metal and experimental music world.

Other notable performers include drone pioneers Sunn O))), subterranean intensity purveyors Blood Incantation, theatrical chaos architects GWAR, and genre-defying guitarist Buckethead.

In 2026, The Caverns was named to Billboard's 2026 Top Music Venues list for its unique live experience.

"The Caverns is a venue for all genres of music," said General Manager Joe Lurgio, "and that certainly includes metal.

Could there be a more perfect place for a metal show than surrounded by rock inside a prehistoric cave?" Tickets and additional information are available at The Caverns' official website.
