Montreal-based technical death metal innovators Beyond Creation are back with their first new music in eight years.

Ahead of their fifteenth anniversary tour celebrating The Aura, the band released “REverence,” a track that fuses crushing brutality with introspective progressive flair.

"Our new single explores the fragile line between clarity and illusion, between introspection and insanity," says vocalist, guitarist, and lyricist Simon Girard.

The song opens with uninhibited interplay between Girard and guitarist Kevin Chartré, showcasing the chemistry that comes from more than 15 years of collaboration.

Yet, the song's tension mirrors the mental pressures the band confronts.

"Thrown into a sea of endless thoughts," Girard screams as crushing riffs illustrate a “quiet war within my core,” a metaphor for battling external expectations and social media-induced comparison.
