Black Label Society has just released their newest record Engines Of Demolition this past Friday (27th March), featuring a tribute track for the late Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne titled, "Ozzy's Song." The album is led by long-time guitarist Zakk Wylde, who was Ozzy's right-hand man for nearly forty years.
In an interview with Guitar World, Wylde reflected on his time alongside Ozzy and how the tribute track came to be.
He noted that he had already written the music for the song before Ozzy passed away, but it wasn't until after Ozzy's passing that he wrote the lyrics and finished the song.
The release of Engines Of Demolition marks a significant milestone in Black Label Society's discography, with Wylde paying homage to his former bandmate through this tribute track.
With the album out now, fans can stream the record and watch the music video for "Ozzy's Song" below.
A 30-minute live-streaming special is also available, featuring an interview with Wylde ahead of a live performance of the song.
