Kentucky rockers BLACK STONE CHERRY have released their new EP, “Celebrate,” digitally via Mascot Records on March 6, 2026.

The six-track effort was self-produced by the band and features an inspired cover of SIMPLE MINDS' “Don't You (Forget About Me)” with THEORY OF A DEADMAN's Tyler Connolly.

In a recent interview with Chas Byrne, vocalist/guitarist Chris Robertson discussed the band's decision to release an EP this time around instead of a full-length record.

“We wanted to try something different,” Robertson explained.

“We've been releasing albums for 20 years now, and we feel like people are more interested in singles than full-length records.

We're not really sure how much longer there's going to be space for full-length albums.” Robertson also discussed the band's creative process for “Celebrate,” stating that they wrote the material with a new approach, getting together at guitarist Ben Wells' house instead of writing on the bus as they have in the past.

The result is a unique sound that Robertson describes as feeling different but still sounding like BLACK STONE CHERRY.

The EP features original tracks and a cover song, showcasing the band's ability to create memorable and catchy songs.

BLACK STONE CHERRY has released eight full-length records since their debut album in 2006 and have toured extensively with various supporting acts.

Their latest tour for “Celebrate” took place across the U.S.

last fall, featuring THEM DIRTY ROSES and AYRON JONES as support.

BLACK STONE CHERRY consists of Chris Robertson on vocals and guitars, Ben Wells on guitars, John Fred Young on drums, and Steve Jewell Jr.

on bass.

The band's sound combines elements of rock, blues, and southern rock to create a unique and recognizable style.

\ Their new EP 'Celebrate' can be streamed digitally via various platforms.
