In an interview with Shawn Ratches of Laughingmonkeymusic, Blaze Bayley opened up about the harsh realities of touring life.

The British heavy metal vocalist, best known for his time fronting IRON MAIDEN from 1994 to 1999, shared his experiences on blowing out one's voice through excessive singing.

Bayley noted that if you're not careful, it can be a difficult habit to break and may lead to permanent damage.

He went on to explain the importance of maintaining a healthy vocal cord in order to ensure the longevity of one's career.

The vocalist also touched upon his post-MAIDEN life, discussing how he underwent quadruple bypass surgery after suffering a heart attack in March 2023.

Bayley has since released several albums under his own name and as part of WOLFSBANE.

His most recent solo album, "Circle Of Stone", came out in February 2024, showcasing the vocalist's continued dedication to his craft.

Despite facing health challenges earlier this year, Bayley remains an iconic figure in heavy metal music.
