After being fired from The S.E.T.
last month due to controversy surrounding his comments about Turnstile and other bands, guitarist Brady Ebert has quickly bounced back by forming a new group called Evidence.
Ebert is joined by drummer Ben Rogers and bassist Bobby Faithful, with several clips of the band jamming already circulating online.
Plans are underway for Evidence to release an EP, with recording sessions set to take place in Nashville, TN, featuring producer Sean Small behind the boards.
The new band's debut will come on the heels of Ebert's brief stint with The S.E.T., which was cut short after he was fired just a month before the release of the band's debut EP, which dropped on March 6.
When discussing his ousting from The S.E.T., Ebert denied making statements outside of comments about Turnstile, writing: "Have no clue what statements 'The set' (self evident truth – a name I came up with btw) but I haven't made any statements about anyone except turnstile that arent completely true." He added that he had been blocked from the band's Instagram for about a week and that he had communicated with band members as recently as a few days ago, but had received no response.
Despite the controversy surrounding his departure, Evidence appears poised to make an immediate impact on the hardcore scene, with EP plans underway.
