Bruce Dickinson has confirmed the release of his eighth solo album, set for early 2027 via BMG.

The album, recorded entirely live over a three-week period in January and February at Dave Grohl's Studio 606 in Northridge, California, features a lineup including keyboardist Mistheria, drummer Dave Moreno, bassist Tanya O'Callaghan, and guitarists Chris Declercq and Philip Näslund.

The project includes a collaboration with his son Austin, former frontman of RISE TO REMAIN and AS LIONS.

A portion of the album's tracks will be released this year, with four to five promotional videos planned.

Mixing for the album is being completed by Brendan Duffey at his studio in Jupiter, Florida.

The new solo album is not directly tied to the 'Mandrake Project' narrative, though one song features a connection to the concept.

The 'Mandrake Project' comic series, a 12-issue adult comic book series by Z2 Comics, concluded with book two released last year and book three set for completion in 2025.

The narrative and music share conceptual roots exploring science, the occult, and human souls.

Dickinson will perform 'The Mandrake Project Live 2025' North American tour, featuring his 2024 backing band with additions of Swedish guitarist Philip Näslund and Swiss guitarist Chris Declercq.

Andreas Kisser of SEPULTURA plays percussion on the new album.

Dickinson's previous solo album, 'Tyranny Of Souls', was recorded with the same core musicians.

He rejoined IRON MAIDEN in 1999 after leaving in 1993 to pursue his solo career.

The tour will follow the original band lineup, with Roy 'Z' Ramirez, who co-wrote 'The Mandrake Project', not participating in live performances."
