Bruce Dickinson has announced a remixed version of his 1997 solo album Accident Of Birth, set for release worldwide on October 23, 2026. The release coincides with National Album Day UK on October 17. The remixed album, titled Accident Of Birth (2026 Remix), will be available on Double Splatter Vinyl, CD, and a bundled version combining both formats.
Pre-orders are available via Bruce Dickinson’s official website and dedicated link. The remixes were produced in collaboration with Grammy-winning producer Brendan Duffey, who also worked on Dickinson’s 2024 album The Mandrake Project and the 2025 reimagined album More Balls To Picasso. The original Accident Of Birth, released on May 12, 1997, was Dickinson’s fourth solo studio album and featured collaborations with former Iron Maiden member Adrian Smith.
" The new mixes have been remastered for Dolby Atmos and are presented as a complete sonic upgrade. " The release marks a significant update to Dickinson’s solo catalog, highlighting his enduring influence and creative output beyond Iron Maiden.
