Drum legend Carmine Appice and his reformed Cactus band – featuring singer Ed Terry, guitarist Artie Dillon, and bassist James Caputo – are gearing up to unleash their sophomore album, Temple Of Blues II.

The follow-up to their well-received debut is due out April 3 via Cleopatra Records.

This time around, Appice has assembled an impressive all-star cast of guests for the project, including Steve Morse (Deep Purple), Tracii Guns (L.A.

Guns), Joe Lynn Turner (Rainbow, Deep Purple), and many more.

The album's second track, "The Little Red Rooster," featuring vocals by Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider, was released today on all digital platforms.

The song has a corresponding Western-themed video directed by Dominic Esposito and co-directed by Carmine Appice.

In an interview, Appice shared that he had a blast working with the guests, including arranging the drums first before sending it to the other band members for their feedback.

Cactus' new album expands on their raw blues-rock vision, covering seven tracks by legendary figures Howlin' Wolf and Willie Dixon.

The project reaffirms Carmine's status as one of the most influential drummers in rock history with his unmistakable power, groove, and feel driving every track.
