UK metal band Cage Fight have released a new single/video, “Oxygen”, which features vocalist Rachel Aspe explaining the song's themes.

The track is part of their upcoming second studio album, Exuvia, due out on May 1st via Spinefarm Records.

The album was recorded by Sam Bloor at Lower Lane Studios and mixed by Jim Pinder (Sleep Token, Malevolence).

Exuvia retains Cage Fight's raw hardcore sound while exploring more complex terrains.

Rachel wrote the lyrics for the first time, tackling anxiety, assault, grief, and cancer.

On the final track, “Élégie”, she addresses losing her grandfather and regret over unsaid words.

Other tracks include “Pig”, inspired by online harassment, and “The Hammer Crush”.

The album cover features a radiation mask photo by Manuel Acquualeni, symbolizing healing through shared experience.

The tracklist includes: 'Confined', 'Oxygen', 'Pig', 'Pick Your Fighter', 'Un Bon Souvenir', 'Deathstalker', 'Le Déni', 'Exuvia', 'The Hammer Crush', and 'IHYG (I Hate Your Guts)', followed by their tribute to their heritage on 'Élégie'.
