CANCER BATS have announced their eighth studio album, titled 'Give Me Dirt,' set for release later this year.

The album marks a continuation of the band's signature style, blending raw, riff-driven sludge rock with hardcore punk intensity.

Produced by Kurt Ballou of CONVERGE, the record reflects the band's long-standing commitment to unfiltered, aggressive soundscapes that reject mainstream polish.

The release follows their 2015 album 'Searching For Zero,' which was produced by Ross Robinson.

'Give Me Dirt' features a range of tracks that showcase the band's musical evolution, including the neck-wrecking opener 'World Wild Fire Death Race' and the psycho-doom finale 'Fools Like You.' Songs like 'Stay Stuck' and 'Don't Trip' are highlighted for their heavy riffs and relentless energy, with 'Stay Stuck' delivering a caffeinated, stoner rock-infused performance.

The title track combines sharp, dirty riffs with subtle nods to the metal and Louisiana sludge scenes.

'Speed Wizard' blends doom-core with fuzz-slurry reminiscent of BLACK FLAG, while 'Prognosis' features a melodic vocal that echoes the band's early work on 'Hail Destroyer.' The album is described as one of the most electrifying releases in CANCER BATS' discography and may represent their best work to date.

The band has maintained their core ethos of raw, uncompromising rock music, emphasizing authenticity over technical refinement.

All tracks are written and performed by the band's core members, with Liam Cormier providing vocal leadership throughout.

The album is expected to be available in both physical and digital formats, with a full track list and release date to be announced shortly."
