In a new interview with Jacob Ridenour of the Wildman podcast, drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz of Florida-based death metallers CANNIBAL CORPSE discussed his band's four-decade career.

When asked how everything is going in his life at the moment, Paul replied: 'It's going pretty good.

I can't complain.

I'm just taking it day by day, of course.' He acknowledged that CANNIBAL CORPSE is still 'killing it' when it comes to touring and releasing 'good music', saying: 'I appreciate it, man.

Thanks.

Yeah, that's what we wanna do, of course.' Paul also shared his thoughts on the band's long history, noting that he never thought they would be around for as long as they have been.

He said: 'Well, you definitely don't think that you're gonna be in a band this long, obviously, when I look back.

We were just basically teenagers when we started,' and reflected on how the band's longevity is due to their passion for the music and each other.

CANNIBAL CORPSE has been releasing music since 1988, with their latest album, "Chaos Horrific", being released in September 2023 via Metal Blade Records.

The album was recorded at guitarist Erik Rutan's Mana Studio in Florida.
