Fan-filmed video of Chad Gray's May 26 concert at The Machine Shop in Flint, Michigan can be seen below.

The show marked the latest installment of his solo "30 Years Of Madness" series of live appearances.

Gray has been backed by various musicians during these one-off gigs, including Hellyeah guitarist Christian Brady and MUDVAYNE touring guitarist Marcus Rafferty.

In a recent interview with Jesea Lee, Gray discussed his decision to take on solo shows, stating he's not opposed to releasing new music under the Chad Gray banner but is currently focused on promoting existing material.

He also addressed the idea that some fans might be excited about seeing songs from both MUDVAYNE and HELLYEAH performed on the same night.

Gray reflected on his passion project HELLYEAH, saying it was a very true band with a lot of passion behind it.

Since Vinnie Paul's passing, the drummer Roy Mayorga has filled in for him during touring activity.

MUDVAYNE guitarist Greg Tribbett sat out the band's summer/fall 2025 tour after his wife lost her battle with cancer.

The band released two new songs, 'Hurt People Hurt People' and 'Sticks And Stones', through Alchemy Recordings in 2025.

Prior to this release, MUDVAYNE hadn't put out any new material since 2009.

In the interview, Gray talked about his decision to continue performing solo shows after taking a hiatus from touring due to the COVID-19 pandemic and his band's reunion with their original drummer Chad Gray discussed how the idea for his solo gigs came about, stating that since bringing MUDVAYNE back in 2021, he'd been taking breaks every year.

He expressed frustration at being forced to take time off and emphasized his desire to continue working and performing.

The band's hiatus from touring was initially planned but Gray found himself with more time on his hands than expected.

Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, MUDVAYNE has completed several tours since their reunion in 2021.

The band also released two new songs through Alchemy Recordings in 2025.

The '30 Years Of Madness' series of live appearances is Gray's first-ever solo performances and mark a year when MUDVAYNE is not scheduled to do any touring.
