MUDVAYNE and HELLYEAH frontman Chad Gray kicked off his solo live appearances, dubbed the ""30 Years Of Madness"" series, last night in Las Vegas.

Backing Gray at the show were Hellyeah guitarist Christian Brady and MUDVAYNE touring guitarist Marcus Rafferty, along with drummer Devin Attard among other musicians.

Fan-filmed video of the gig can be seen below.

The shows aim to celebrate Gray's 30-year music career, with dates scheduled for when MUDVAYNE is not touring.

This marks Chad's first-ever solo performances and a chance to revisit songs from HELLYEAH, which has been inactive since its U.S.

tour was canceled in early 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Gray had previously reunited with his former band MUDVAYNE after a 12-year hiatus, playing its first two shows in 2021 and completing several tours.

In an interview earlier this month with The David Ellefson Show, Gray discussed revisiting HELLYEAH material after so long: ""It's been really weird.

I'm obviously rehearsing all that stuff now.

And I haven't played, I haven't touched those songs in seven fucking years, or eight years, whatever it's been since Vinnie Paul passed."" Chad reflected on how the idea for his solo gigs came about: ""Since we brought MUDVAYNE back in '21, we've done it once a year for the last four years.

And it's just, like, management, everybody's just, like, 'We should probably give it a break.

We should probably just take 2026 off.' And I'm just, like, I'm 54 fucking years old.

I'm not taking a year off."" The ""30 Years Of Madness"" series is set to run throughout the year, with Gray celebrating his 12-album career and paying homage to his late bandmate Vinnie Paul.
