Members of Finland’s legendary Children Of Bodom held the first of two sold-out shows on February 26, 2026 at Tavastia in Helsinki.

The evening featured original Children Of Bodom members Janne Warman (keyboards), Henkka Blacksmith (bass), Jaska Raatikainen (drums) and Alexander Kuoppala (guitars), along with vocalist / guitarist Samy Elbanna, a familiar and long-time friend of the band.

The band previously issued a statement: “We want to celebrate the life work of our band and at the same time the musical legacy of our friend and bandmate, Alexi.” Children of Bodom, founded in Espoo in the early 1990s, rose to international popularity with albums Something Wild, Hatebreeder and Follow The Reaper.

Their setlist for the shows included a mix of their classic hits and some deeper cuts from their extensive discography.

The second show is scheduled to take place on February 27, 2026 at Tavastia in Helsinki.
