Singer and songwriter Chloe Trujillo, wife of METALLICA bassist Robert Trujillo, has released the final video for her new single ""Lies"" from her upcoming independent solo EP ""Rebirth"".
The song's haunting Middle Eastern-tinged track is accompanied by a magical ritualistic moment around the fire in the visually striking clip.
Directed by Chloe and producer Alejandro Ordonez along with Raubtier Productions, the video highlights two native dancers Ba'ac Garcia and M.Baaker.
Chloe's EP ""Rebirth"" is set to release on March 5 and includes her previous single ""As The Sky Is Falling Down"".
In an interview, Chloe mentioned that she carefully crafted the tracks for the new EP throughout 2024 and 2025.
She has already selected four songs for the EP and has another six or seven in mind for her next release.
The songwriting process is ongoing and ever evolving for Chloe.
When choosing the songs for the new EP, she said, ""I have a stash of hundreds of songs waiting to be properly recorded, so for this EP I selected four of those to finish."" Chloe teamed up with producer Jake Carmona to bring it to life in the studio.
Chloe's personal story is intertwined with her music.
She shared about meeting METALLICA bassist Robert Trujillo in the ""Honest AF Show"" interview, saying ""He was playing in SUICIDAL TENDENCIES.
We met in the '90s.
I was still in high school."" Chloe and Robert have two children together.
The couple shares a romantic and supportive relationship on social media.
