Clutch has announced their fourteenth studio album, Wasted Lands, set for release on January 22, 2027, via their own label Weathermaker Music. The album was written and recorded at the band's longtime base, the Doom Saloon in Frederick, Maryland, and marks their first full-length record since 2022’s Sunrise on Slaughter Beach. It reunites the band with producer Machine for the first time since 2015’s Psychic Warfare.

The record features a sharp melodic streak alongside Clutch’s signature riff-driven sound. Tracks such as "Colorado Fuel And Iron," "Stage Fright," and "Loaf ‘N Jug" build on chord progressions, while "Beware The Fever" includes a banjo performance by Neil Fallon, recorded during a writing session and left unaltered on the final track.

Wasted Lands is set to be supported by a 16-date US headline tour beginning in early 2027, with opening acts Slomosa and Blood Vulture. The tour will conclude with a global leg in Australia, kicking off in Perth the day after the album release. The Australian leg includes stops in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and wraps in Adelaide on January 30, 2027, with support from Corrosion of Conformity.
