On February 3, comedian Dean Delray marked his 60th birthday with a very special one-night-only tribute show to Bon Scott and the early years of AC/DC.
The Avalon Theater in Hollywood, Los Angeles played host to an impressive lineup featuring Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age), Gene Simmons (KISS), Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Steve Gorman (The Black Crowes), Larry "Ler" LaLonde (Primus), Billy Rowe (Buckcherry/Jetboy) and Mike Inez (Alice in Chains).
Dean Delray led vocals through the two-hour tribute, paying homage to Bon Scott's era with AC/DC.
The evening blended stand-up comedy and live music, a fitting sendoff for Delray's legendary annual celebration of Scott alongside his musician friends.
Over 40 years, past performers have included notable rockers such as Dave Lombardo (Slayer), Josh Freese (Foo Fighters/Nine Inch Nails) and Scott Ian (Anthrax).
