In a new interview with Australia's Heavy, CRADLE OF FILTH frontman Dani Filth spoke about the fan response to the band's latest album, 'The Screaming Of The Valkyries'.

Released in March 2025 via Napalm Records, the album has reportedly charted high and received positive feedback from fans.

When asked if this was everything he had hoped for, Filth replied: 'Yeah.

Above and beyond.' He credited the band's touring schedule and creative output as contributing factors to their success.

According to Filth, the band is currently working on new material, with writing almost complete and a studio visit scheduled in three weeks.

When asked if they would repeat the 'old-school sounds and vibes' of 'The Screaming Of The Valkyries', Filth responded: 'Well, yeah, we've moved the goalposts in all kinds of directions.' However, he emphasized that it's too early to speculate about their new album.

'The Screaming Of The Valkyries' was produced by Scott Atkins at Grindstone Studios in Suffolk, England.

The band has a history of releasing live albums, with 'Trouble And Their Double Lives', their first such release since 2014-19 tour dates, arriving last year via Napalm Records.

In other news, six former members of CRADLE OF FILTH filed a lawsuit against Dani and the group's management last year over alleged poor pay and 'psychopathic' contracts.

However, Filth has not publicly responded to these allegations.
