UK progressive death metal band Cryptic Shift is set to release their latest full-length, 'Overspace & Supertime', on February 27 via Metal Blade Records.

The album continues the conceptual and musical themes of their debut and showcases a new standard in technical thrash/death metal showmanship.

In an interview, drummer Ryan Sheperson explained that the concept of 'Overspace & Supertime' is an alternative reality to their previous release, 'Visitations From Enceladus'.

The album features artwork by Jesse Jacobi and was produced by Jack Helliwell and mastered by Greg Chandler (Esoteric, My Dying Bride).

Cryptic Shift's single 'Hexagonal Eyes (Diverity Trepaphyphasyzm)' is a preview of the extreme material on the record.

The band takes inspiration from films like the Star Wars prequels and promises a blast for sci-fi storytelling and metal fans alike.
