Crystal Lake is set to release their new record 'The Weight Of Sound' on January 23, which marks their first-ever full-length with vocalist John Robert Centorrino.

The album's influences were discussed by Centorrino and founding guitarist Yudai "YD" Miyamoto in an interview.

According to YD, he finds inspiration from diverse styles and backgrounds through his friends and music from various genres.

He stated that every day, he connects with incredible sounds and absorbs their essence.

Centorrino mentioned that their friends are their extended family and have been invited to be part of their songs.

He also highlighted the influence of people like Karl Schubach on his lyrics, saying they inspire him to be creative and profound.
