Guitar Meets Science has released a new mini-documentary exploring the life and legacy of Glenn Danzig.

The documentary covers Danzig's solo work, including his time with Samhain and his later solo projects.

A key focus is on Danzig's tumultuous relationship with Jerry Only and his departure from The Misfits in 1983.

Additionally, the documentary touches on Danzig's rise to fame after Rick Rubin signed him to Geffen Records.

The series of seven shows announced for this September will be Danzig's first US tour dates since 2014.

The tour will visit several cities across the country, including San Antonio, Houston, New Orleans, Louisville (as part of Louder Than Life), Nashville, Grande Prairie, and Anaheim.

Fans can look forward to seeing the rest of the lineup, which includes Twin Temple and others still to be announced.
