DARK FUNERAL has released a new live album titled 'Beast Of Praise', recorded at Fållan in Stockholm on April 16, 2022. The album marks the band's first live recording since 2004's 'De Profundis Clamavi Ad Te Domine'. It complements the studio release 'We Are The Apocalypse' from the same year.

The 13-track live set captures the band's signature black metal intensity, featuring fast-paced blast beats and tremolo picking driven by founding member Lord Ahriman. The album opens with 'Unchain My Soul' and 'The Arrival Of Satan's Empire', establishing a tone of relentless speed and aggression. 'Let The Devil In' stands out for its haunting melody and Heljarmadr's distinctive, decipherable vocals, which are delivered in Swedish, the band member's native language.

Midway through the set, momentum slightly wanes, but the album concludes with 'The Secrets Of The Black Arts' and 'Where Shadows Forever Reign', tracks drawn from the band's 1996 debut and 2016 album respectively. These selections reaffirm DARK FUNERAL's ability to deliver memorable, triumphant black metal maelstroms. The release underscores the band's status as a formidable live act, with their performance style remaining a core element of their identity.

The band has not announced any tour or upcoming studio project beyond a reference to a future studio opus expected in 2027. Live albums remain rare in black metal, yet 'Beast Of Praise' confirms DARK FUNERAL's enduring live prowess and commitment to their sonic extremes.
