The iconic punk rock band has confirmed they will fulfill their upcoming appearances at Punk in the Park festivals in Pittsburgh and Vallejo, despite controversy surrounding the festival's owner.

The band stated that while they initially considered canceling due to the owner's financial support of Donald Trump's campaign, they decided not to cancel due to existing commitments with fans who have already purchased tickets.

Dead Kennedys expressed their opposition to authoritarianism, racism, and fascism, but made it clear they will not participate in future Punk In The Park events beyond these scheduled appearances.

This decision comes after several bands, including Destiny Bond, withdrew from the festival over similar concerns, while Dropkick Murphys severed ties entirely.

Former frontman Jello Biafra criticized the current lineup, stating that true Dead Kennedys would never have compromised their values for financial gain.
