Def Leppard have confirmed plans to release a new album early next year.
Frontman Joe Elliott spoke about the upcoming record during an interview with Riff X's Metal XS, stating that it will be a "very varied album" and that fans shouldn't be surprised by the band's musical direction, which has evolved over their 15-year history.
The album is currently being recorded remotely due to COVID-19 restrictions, with each member working on their individual parts from home.
Def Leppard are also gearing up for a massive UK tour in June and July, which will feature special guests Extreme.
The tour includes a headline show at the iconic The O2 London and a highly anticipated appearance in Paris, France after nearly 30 years.
Tickets for the tour can be purchased through DefLeppard.com.
The band has also announced two new editions of their Greatest Hits album, which will be released on June 12.
This newly mastered set includes some of the band's most iconic tracks from their illustrious career.
The album will be made available on standard black vinyl and special edition blood red marbled vinyl featuring exclusive tour edition artwork.
Def Leppard will also be releasing a new video series called Behind The Tour, which offers fans an intimate look at life on the road with the band.
